Support Women in Weed: Mystic Herbal Care

Errbody knows marijuana carries the official status of big business. Who gives a hell if you’ve got a great idea, intentions or expertise on the matter – you betta have the (massive amount of) capital to back that ish up! We’ve said it before but I feel compelled to reiterate that the War on Drugs has debilitated Black and Brown communities in a matter that makes most of us far less able to benefit from the emerging green market.

Now here’s the silver lining: There are some of us out there defying the odds and actualizing their dreams despite the financially hostile terrain of the cannabis industry. If you care about equity and equality within the greenspace, supporting these female collective and WOC run businesses should be a foregone conclusion.

Each week, Cannama will spotlight a female-led canna-business and the dynamic women at the helm. Up first is Felicia Shaw’s Mystic Herbal Care:

“Mystic Herbal Care is a California State licensed Cannabis Delivery, Distribution, Non- Volatile Manufacturing & Shared Kitchen Service. We are a Woman owned business and we are committed to supporting equity, social justice and diversity in this amazing cannabis community right here in the Bay Area. We believe in promoting and developing business opportunities for small local cultivators and all people of all color. We take pride in empowering people who have sacrificed their freedoms and helped paved the way for the legalization of cannabis. Our mission is to help everyone we work with profit and legally participate in the successful cannabis movement in the Bay Area.

This is why we encourage you to register and order online with Mystic Herbal Care. When you purchase our locally grown cannabis, you’ll be providing support to people who have cultivated cannabis with love and passion. By sharing beneficial information about healthy choices for medicating with our cannabis community we share a common knowledge that we all benefit from.”

We have the power to solidify the presence of women of all shades within the greenspace. Head on over to Mystic Herbal’s official site for more information as well as links to products and services.

*Please stay tuned as Cannama is excited to present a series of candid conversations with cannamoms of color starting with feminine wellness and canna-care guru Ashley Asatu. Ours is an experience underrepresented within the media. Contact us at cannamami[at]gmail.com to share your story (anonymity is always respected).
